I have one of these early cottages in a collection of 20 or so Mudlen cottages which I just inherited. I was wondering what the value of this particular piece might be?

There can be no set value placed on these or any Mudlen End item now. It really depends on someone’s desire to own it and how much they are willing to pay for it.
When they were being produced they used to sell for around 80 pence, now they can sell for hundreds of pounds.
The only way to find out is to offer it for sale and hopefully get it seen by a collector who wants it. Or hopefully two or more who will bid up. Then that becomes how much its worth.
